Diese Tatsache wirft Fragen auf, mit denen sich zuvor nicht auseinandergesetzt werden musste; so zum Beispiel: Ist der ehemals passive Rezipient, der sich bisher höchstens durch das Verfassen von Leserbriefen am publizistischen Prozess beteiligt hat, heute ein potenzieller Konkurrent des Journalisten? In der vorliegenden Arbeit nun soll solch ein Konkurrenzprodukt - ein nutzergeneriertes Nachrichtenportal - auf seine Qualität hin überprüft werden. Wenn der User nämlich wirklich ein ernst zu nehmender Konkurrent des klassischen Journalisten ist, erhalten die Themen „Journalistische Qualität“ und „Ausbildung von Journalisten“ eine noch höhere Relevanz als bisher. Denn wie sonst wenn nicht durch höhere Qualität und Professionalität sollen Internetauftritte von renommierten klassischen Medien neben den Privatangeboten auf dem Markt legitimiert werden? Vor der Untersuchung liefert die Arbeit im ersten Teil einen geschichtlichen Abriss über die Entwicklung der Qualitätsdiskussion seit dem 17. Jahrhundert und setzt sich mit den Schwierigkeiten auseinander, welche bei der Formulierung allgemein gültiger Qualitätskriterien bestehen. Außerdem wird das von Günther Rager generierte vierdimensionale Modell journalistischer Qualität vorgestellt. Im zweiten Teil liefert die Arbeit eine Zusammenfassung über die Besonderheiten journalistischer Qualität im Netz und stellt kurz das - professionelle und private - Nachrichtenangebot im Internet vor. Robotech What if....?

This book is about the uncompleted/cancel TV series Robotech: The Sentinels. To bad Matchbox back out of funding the sentinels series. The sentinels would have World War II in space. It was supposed to answer any questions that the first Robotech series left like,"What happen to Rick and Lisa Hayes"?, "Where is Dana Sterling and the 15th squadron"?, and many more questions. This book has some of the outlines/scripts of how the series would have gone. Also, there is some animation arts and draws of new mecha that would have appear in the new series. If you are a fan of Robotech or anime fan you should check this book out.

Robotech: The Failed Sentinels Series

The primary focus of this third installment of the Robotech Art books is the art and planned storyline of the failed series, Robotech II: the Sentinels. For an "art" book, this one is rich in text. However, if you are a die hard Robotech fan, this is the only reliable source of information concerning the series and its development (or lack thereof). I for one recommend it if you want to round out your Robotech collection.

About the Author
David Byfield graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Toronto, Canada in 1979 and has since been in private practice and chiropractic education. He is currently a Principal Lecturer, Head of the Chiropractic Division in the Department of Professional Education and Service Delivery, the Faculty of Health, Sport & Science and Head of the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan.
David holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Biology from the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada (1974) and an MPhil degree from Southampton University, Southampton UK (1998). David holds Fellowship status with the College of Chiropractors and the Faculty of Rehabilitation and Chiropractic Orthopaedic, Associate Member of the Sports & Exercise Faculty, Fellow of the British Chiropractic Association and Founding Fellow of the European Academy of Chiropractic. He written two popular chiropractic textbooks (Chiropractic Manipulative Skills, 1st ed 1996 & 2nd ed 2005 & A Manual Therapist’s Guide to Surface Anatomy and Palpation Skills, 2002) and in addition has also published a number of scientific papers in the peer-reviewed literature and a number of book chapters covering diagnostic palpation, spinal manipulation, low back syndromes and functional rehabilitation.
David Byfield is also an invited speaker at a number of professional and interdisciplinary meetings and conferences worldwide. He is currently an elected member of the General Chiropractic Council in the UK and currently sits on their Education Committee and Communications Advisory Group.

The content is very rich in details and seems to lack a sense of flow in the digital version. The picture of some description, can sometimes, only be found 6 to 10 pages later.
The hard copy might be better.

Irish Potato Famine

Absolutely one of the BEST books in this series. It was surprising for me to find that McClintock, famous for her YA mysteries and thrillers, was the author. This is her first historical fiction and her reason and connection to the genre is explained in the author's note; I certainly hope she offers us more. This is a story of the Irish Potato Famine from boarding the ship until one year later in Canada. The book takes place first on the ship then in Montreal and finally ends in Sherbrooke. The book concentrates on the devastating hardships the Irish faced during this time when they turned to Canada for a new life and instead found disease, death and profound prejudice. Johanna tells her story as she struggles with losing her family, working as a servant and being called lazy, filth to her face. The book is suited for the upper age range of this series as it is powerful and deals heavily with death, of children, over and over. Irish literature is often known for its moroseness and McClintock has followed suit with this story. The ending makes the tough going worth the read though. A well-written, emotional period piece.
